April 30, 1892, Elliott, Iowa. Her parents: Tilman Hoyt Lathen and Laura Giltner. Oliver W. and Geneva Howard both graduated Elliott H. S. Married: Elliott Methodist Church Feb. 22, 1912.

    Gwendolyn Lucille b. May 1, 1915 d. Oct. 21, 1937 – Red Oak Cemetery.

    Jean Elizabeth b. Feb. 22, 1917.

    Marjorie Louise b. May 19, 1921.

   JEAN ELIZABETH married James Payton Sapp, Jan. 9, 1943, Corpus Christi, Texas, now residing Red Oak, Iowa.

   CHILDREN:

Dennis Jay Sapp b. Jan. 4, 1945, m. Margaret Anne Morgan, daughter of Glendon Thomas Morgan and Dorothy Bristol Morgan of Elliott, at Elliott Methodist Church Aug. 10, 1968.

CHILDREN: Dee Anne Sapp b. Nov. 21, 1971, James Thomas Sapp b. Aug. 18, 1977, all residing in California.

Sharon Kay Sapp b. Aug. 3, 1949 m. Graig Edward Smith, son of Harold and Marge Smith of Red Oak, at Red Oak Methodist Church, Aug. 28, 1971, residing at Atlantic, Iowa.

   MARJORIE LOUISE married Wm. Dean Dillon, Jan. 20, 1943, San Angelo, Texas. Now residing in California – no children. Wm. D. Dillon is the son of Wm. John Dillon and Mattie Sandell Dillon, formerly of Elliott, Iowa.
