Rock Township
Everett E. Drake and Eugene Buttholph, in 1871 bought 240 acres of land on section 14, Rock township, which they have since worked together. They have erected good houses and commodious barns and otherwise improved it.
Mr. Drake is the third son of William and Betsey (Glimes) Drake, and was born in Chichester, Merrimac Co., N.H., April 29, 1847. He came with his parents to Mitchell county in 1856. He was married in 1873 to Emma Knowlton, a native of Canada. The have one child – Clarence E.
