Cemetery Status:  Restoration completed in 1999 by Eagle Scout Trenton Place. Native prairie plants.
Access:  Located about 3 miles east of Oskaloosa on the north side of highway 92. Private drive in.

History:
Deed Record dated 11 January 1906: "I, William S. MCDONALD, a bachelor, of the County of Mahaska and State of Iowa, for the consideration of the sum $270.00 in hand, do hereby sell and convey unto W. H. SARBAUGH the following described premises, situated and lying in Mahaska County and State of Iowa, to wit: The East Three-fourths of the North-West Quarter of the South-West Quarter of Section Fourteen, Township Seventy-five Norht, Range Fifteen West of the Fifth Principal Meridian. Grantor reserves the use of a strip two rods wide by three rods long in the north-west corner of the above described premises, where his parents are buried. There are to be no more burials in this plot, but grantor is to keep up the fences around the plot or cemetery, and take care of the same at his own expense. The title is conveyed to grantee, but the use of said cemetery is to remain in grantor, as above stated."
