1. Find the gravestone on iowagravestones.org

2. Note at the bottom of the transcribed inscription, the Section and Row number.

3. Find that section row in the map below.

4. The cemetery is divided in two sections, A to the north of the entrance road and B to the south of the entrance road.

5. Note: The Hooten rows tended to be laid out erratically, especially at the south end of the cemetery. The row numbers shown are approximations and you may need to look one or two rows on either side of the designated row to find your ancestor.
