2013-14: Columbus Catholic joins from the WaMaC Conference. Membership increases to 16.
2012-13: NUH closes. Membership decreases to 15.
2011-12: South Tama joins from the Little Hawkeye Conference. Membership increases to 16.
2008-09: West Marshall joins from the Heart of Iowa Conference. Membership increases to 15.
2007-08: Eldora-New Providence and Hubbard-Radcliffe consolidate to form South Hardin. The new school remains in the league. Membership decreases to 14.
2003-04: North Tama leaves for the Iowa Star Conference. Membership decreases to 15.
2002-03: GMG leaves for the Iowa Star Conference. Membership decreases to 16.
1999-00: Ackley-Geneva and Wellsburg-Steamboat Rock consolidate to form AGWSR. The new school remains in the league. Membership decreases to 17.
1998-99: Jesup joins from the Tri-Rivers Conference. Wapsie Valley joins from the Upper Iowa Conference. Membership increases to 18.
1992-93: Aplington-Parkersburg (a consolidation of Aplington and Parkersburg), East Marshall, Gladbrook-Reinbeck, GMG, Hubbard-Radcliffe, and Wellsburg-Steamboat Rock join from the disbanding Big Marsh Conference. Dike consolidates with New Hartford to form Dike-New Hartford. The new school remains in the conference. Membership is 16.
1988-89: Denver and BCLUW join. La Porte City consolidates with Dysart-Geneseo to form Union, LaPorte City. The new school remains in the conference. Membership increases to 10.
1980-81: Eldora becomes Eldora-New Providence. Membership remains at 8.
1977-78: North Tama, Dike, and Hudson join from the Mid-Iowa Conference. Membership increases to 8.
1973-74: Waterloo Central leaves for the Big Eight Conference. Membership decreases to 5.
1972-73: Orange Township closes. Waterloo Central joins. Membership remains at 6.
1970-71: Jesup leaves for the Cedar-Wapsie Conference. Membership decreases to 6.
1964-65: Reinbeck and Traer-Clutier leave to help form the Mid-Iowa Conference. Orange Township joins. Membership decreases to 7.
1961-62: Ackley becomes Ackley-Geneva. Traer becomes Traer-Clutier. Membership remains at 8.
1951-52: Jesup and La Porte City join. Membership increases to 8.
1936-37: Ackley joins. Iowa-Cedar Conference splits into South Iowa Cedar League (made up of Tama, Toledo, Montezuma, Belle Plaine, Brooklyn, and new member Marengo) and North Iowa Cedar League, with remaining schools.
1935-36: Cedar Falls leaves.
1930-31: Cedar Falls joins. Membership increases to 11.
1929-30: Earliest known lineup of Iowa-Cedar Conference includes Traer, Eldora, Grundy Center, Teachers' High, Reinbeck, Tama, Toledo, Montezuma, Belle Plaine, and Brooklyn. Membership is 10.
