FREDERICKSBURG - Alyce Louise Elizabeth Speicher, 69, Fredericksburg, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002 at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo of natural causes.

Funeral Services were held at Peace United Church of Christ, Fredericksburg on Wednesday, Feb. 13.

Burial was in Rose Hill, Fredericksburg.

Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home, Fredericksburg.

Alyce was born July 7, 1932. She attended schools in the Fredericksburg area. She was united in marriage to Gene Speicher on Nov. 19, 1950 at tne Evangelical and Reformed Church, Fredericksburg. She helped at the meal site and did a lot of driving for people in the community.

Survivors include two children, Bonnie Speicher, Des Moines and Larry Speicher, Waterloo; a sister, Marie Joachim, Fredericksburg and two grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husoand, Gene, in 2000; her parents; two sisters, Rose Scharnhorst and Alberta Shinstine and a brother, Everett, in infancy.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
