Memorial services for Darwin Keith Sloan were held Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002 at the Hindt Hutchins Funeral Home in LeRoy, Minn. Burial was in the Wayne Cemetery following the service.

Darwin Keith Sloan, age 81, of Mclntire, Iowa died Thursday at the Muse Norris. Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City, Iowa.

Darwin Keith Sloan was born September 28, 1921 in Bailey, Iowa to Ervin Sloan and Kathryn Papach Sloan. He worked as a construction supervisor.

He is survived by daughter Leona (Roger) Rasmussen of Nora Springs, Iowa, son Roger (Cathy) Sloan of Atalissa, Iowa, daughters Charlene (Ken) West of Cedar Falls, Iowa,, Rose Hubler of Anamosa, Iowa, Debra (Tim) Frame of DeWitt, Iowa, and son Dennis Sloan of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no reviewal, the body was cremated. Memorial are suggested to the Muse Norris Hospice of North Iowa.
