Marsrow, William 1933 - 2002REECE, MI -- William Marsrow, 68, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2002 at his home after a lengthy illness A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21 from St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Reese with Rev. Fr. Bill Gruden officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. William was born on Dec. 17, 1933 in Blumfield Township, MI,* the son of William and Alice (Waltz) Marsrow. He served in the U.S. Army and married the former Geraldine Crooks of Ionia on Sept. 1, 1956 in Yakima, WA. He was employed with General Motors Corporation, working as a millwright at the Grey Iron Foundry, retiring in July of 1991, after 25 years of service. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Reese, MI and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his wife, Gerri; his children, William M. (Renee) Marsrow, Frankenmuth, MI, Thomas E. Marsrow and friend Kristine Beckrow, Reese, MI, Karen A. (James) Sweet, Bonaqua, TN and Daniel J. (Ann) Marsrow, Gladwin, MI; ten grandchildren and sisters, La Verne (Bernard) DuRussel, Reese, MI, Judy (Robert) Telmos, Saginaw, MI. Preceding him in death were three sisters, Mae E. Fischer, Betty Courbier, Janet Marsrow and Louise Schluckbier.
