NEW HAMPTON - Doris D. Martin, 79, New Hampton, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2002 a t New Hampton Nursing Center, New Hampton.

Funeral Services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24 at Fournier and Fournier Funeral Home, Woonsocket, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Whitinsville, MA.

Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA.

Doris was bom Jan. 2, 1923 in Woonsocket, RI, the daughter of Joseph Nadeau and Algae (Laprise) Nadeau Coumoyer. She married Richard J.W. Martin and was a homemaker. She lived in Bellingham, MA before moving to Iowa in 1995. She was a member of Our Lady’s Rosary Makers.

Survivors include two sons, Francis J.R. Martin, Wisconsin and Paul J. R. Martin, Wadena; three daughters, Anne-Marie Rutledge, Independent, MO, Edith M.M. Kendall, Yukon, OK and Irma M. Martin, Whitinsville, MA; a brother, Raymond Nadeau, Lincoln, RI; four sisters, Evelyn Carriere, Woonsocket, Lena Denault, East Falmouth, MA, Alice Joyal and Florence Gelinas, both of Woonsocket; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
