NASHUA - Hattie LaBounty, 99, died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002 at Shell Rock Nursing Home, Shell Rock, of natural causes.

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4 at Chenoweth and Son Funeral Home, Nashua.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at Chenoweth and Son Funeral Home, Nashua.

Hattie was born March 2, 1903 in Charles City, the daughter of Edwin and Emily (Harvey) Matteson. She married Earl LaBounty Oct. 28, 1928. She worked at D's Clothing and Meusel Hardware, Nashua.

Survivors include one daughter, Diane (Dean) Hammond, Nashua; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Earl, in 1958; two sons, James, in 1997 and David, in 2002; five brothers, Earl, Roy, Edwin, George and Charlie Matteson and four sisters, Miranda Marlowe, Alma Young, Bess Thomas and Nelle Sweasey.
