Services were held for Marian Knode on Monday, January 21, 2002 at the LeRoy Lutheran Church with the Rev. Tim Kolden officiating.

June Knode,69, died at her hbme in LeRoy on Saturday, January 19, 2002.

She was born March 30, 1932 in Bennington, Township, Mower County to George Erie and Genora Olson Erie. She was baptized and confirmed at the Bennington Lutheran Church and attended LeRoy schools. She was united in marriage to George Knode at Bennington Lutheran Church on i October 8, 19$0 and to this union four children were born.

June was a member of the LeRoy Lutheran Church and active in the LeRoy Lutheran Church WELCA and circle. She was also a member of the Oakdale Growing Oaks. She loved to care for her lawn and garden and liked to sew and square dance. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and visiting her sisters.

Knode is survived by her husband, George of LeRoy, her children David (Keiko) Knode of Medina, Washington, John (Connie) Knode of Saratoga, Iowa, Sharon (Stan) Bergan of LeRoy and Steve (Glenda) Knode of Spring Valley, Minnesota, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two sisters Pearl Bustad of Grand Meadow and Arlene Skifter of Grand Meadow, two brothers Glenn (Edna) Erie of Marion, Iowa and Arlo (RoseAnn) Erie of LeRoy.
