Clites, Geraldine "Geri" nee Paulson 1932 - 2002NEW HAMPTON -- Geraldine (Geri) Clites, age 70, of New Hampton died Tuesday at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, MN after a lengthly illness. Funeral Services A mass of Chritian Burial will be held a t 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Parish- St. Joseph Center with Reverend Carl Schmittc elebrating the mass. The pall will be placed on the casket by her husband Bob and their four children. Music for the service will be provided by Sr. Lorraine Loecher as organist, Mike Carlin as Cantor and the St. Joseph Ressurection Choir. Ray Klenske will be the Lector.The offertory gifts will be presented by her children. Lila Klenske, Bill and Joann Hurd will be the eucharist ministers. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery with Bob Beckman, Gary Vikdal, Lee Dowd, Ron Maher, Carol Hageman and Darlene Schwamann as pallbearers. Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. a t Hugeback Funeral Home in New Hampton, where there will be a 4:00 p.m. Rosary, a 7:00 p.m. Scripture service and a 7:30 p.m. Video Memorial Tribute. Further visitation is an hour prior to the funeral a t the church. Geri was born north of Lawler on February 22, 1932, the only child of Oli and Marguerite Hurd Paulson. She attended rural country school until the 8th grade at which time the family moved to New Hampton. She then graduated from New Hampton High School in 1949. On October 23, 1950 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Hampton, she married Bob Clites. Initially Geri worked at the ASCS office in New Hampton and then stayed home as her children were growing and in school. She then went to work at the former Medical Associates Clinic on a part time basis and within a short time became ' the business manager for the office for over 26 years, retiring in 1992. Memberships included Holy Family Parish and Rosary Society, the A-Z Investment Club and a former member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Geri enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, crocheting, playing all card games and will be remembered as being a sports fan following the Detroit Tigers in spring training and the Iowa State Cyclones. Survivors include her husband, Bob; Three sons; Greg Clites [Anne] of Ann Arbor, MI; Dave Clites [Paula] Lakewood, CO; Dan Clites [Deb] of Gamer. One daughter; Cathy Wylam [David] of Waverly. Preceding her In death were her parents.
