"Budde-Singer Building, 110 North Main Street, Mt. Pleasant". The original building on this site was constructed in 1856 & had 4 stories. The Budde-Singer Bakery Building burned in January 1882 & was immediately rebuilt, but with only 3 floors. At one time, the 1st floor was a bakery, 2nd floor a restaurant & the 3rd floor housed the G. A. Grau Cigar Factory. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places, #91001112.
