57 CHARTER MEMBERS |
|
Bob Tribby Post of the
American Legion,
|
When the formal application for a charter for the Bob Tribby Post of
the American Legion was forwarded to state headquarters today, it had
been signed by 57 men of Mt. Pleasant and immediate vicinity who served
in the army or navy of the United States during the world war. In some
cases their parents of boys who have not as yet returned signed up for
their sons. As far as is known, this is the largest list of charter
members secured in the first district for any post, Fairfield and
Burlington, however, going over the fifty mark. New names are being
added every day and any who wish to join may do so at any time. It is
expected that by the time of the next meeting, June 25th, the hundred
mark will be easily reached. Those who singed the application for the
carter are as follows: List of names sent in with Application for Charter: | ||
