Colonel Ernest B. Bennett

Colonel commanding 168th Infantry. Colonel Ernest B. Bennett commanded the regiment during our training period, the Lorraine trench warfare, during the Champagne Defense and Chateau Thierry Drive. He was taken sick of influenza in September, 1918 and forced to return home.
