Last Will and Testament of Nancy D. Glassford:

I, Nancy D. Glassford of sound mind and memory, mindful of the uncertainty of life, 
do hereby make this my last will and testament.
To Wit:
1)  I desire all my just debts to be first paid including my last sickness 
and funeral expenses.
2) I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter H. Belle Criner the sum of six 
hundred dollars ($600.) to be first paid out of my estate.
3) I give devise and bequeath unto my husband John W. Glassford the right 
to use occupy and enjoy all my land situated in Charleston Township, Lee co., Iowa
for his natural life only provided that if said John W. Glassford should remarry all 
his interest in said land shall thereupon cease and determine.
4) Subject to the foregoing bequests, I give devise and bequeath unto my children 
H. Belle Criner, Mary E. Hancock, and Bertha L. Britton and to my grandson Byran 
G. Britton all the rest, residue and remainder of my property both real and 
personal, including that which I now own and am possessed of and that which I may 
hereafter acquire and be possessed at the time of my death.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 9th day of Aug A.D. 1906.

The above instrument was at the date thereof signed, published and declared by the said 
Nancy D. Glassford to be her last will and testament in the presence of us, who at her 
request, in her presence and in the presence of each other have signed our names as 
witness--I.N. Tichenor, W. D. Patterson

Certificate of Probate--State of Iowa, Lee co.

I, O.H. Johnston, Clerk of the District court of Lee co,IA, do hereby certify that 
the attached will of Nancy D. Glassford, Deceased, was this day proven in said 
District Court and that the same was established as and declared by said court to be 
the last will and Testament of Nancy D. Glassford, Deceased, and that it was 
thereupon by said court ordered that said instrument be certified and recorded 
as such, Last Will and Testament as by law required.
In Testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said 
court this 25th day of March, AD 1907
