OSCAR WEST and children spent Tuesday evening with MR. and MRS. WILLIE RAMSEY.

MR. and MRS. WILL ADAMS spent Tuesday at OSCAR WEST's.

FRANK FULLERTON and TOM FULLERTON spent Tuesday afternoon with OSCAR WEST.

WILLIE RAMSEY and ROSCOE and EDDIE WILSON spent Thursday evening with OSCAR WEST.

CLARKE and GERTIE WEST spent Friday evening with LAWRENCE and VELMA CAMPBELL.

H.M. CAMPBELL and OSCAR WEST sawed wood for WALLACE HOLT Saturday afternoon.

MR. and MRS. WILLIE RAMSEY spent Sunday with ROBERT PARMER.

GARVIN WEST is assisting EVERETT WEST with his work.

MR. and MRS. CECIL WILSON came Friday to visit a few days with ERASTUS WILSON.

NILE GIBSON and family spent Sunday with H.M. CAMPBELL and family.

ROY WARREN is on the sick list this week.

The BARLEAN brothers were Leon callers Saturday.

WARREN HILL visited over Saturday night and Sunday at his home.

MR. and MRS. OSCAR REX and children, FLOYD and LOUISA, and MRS. PRICE REX, and son, THORAL, were Leon visitors Saturday.

Pa MANCHESTER visited one day last week at the home of his children, ROSIE and SILAS MANCHESTER.

LORIS BAKER called on his friend, MISS LAVISA REX, Sunday evening and got stuck in the mud and had to stay all night.

EARL REX called at the HIRAM MANCHESTER home Sunday evening.

MR. and MRS. GILBERT JOHNSTON and son, CHESTER, visited Saturday in Leon.

LLOYD HILL was a visitor at the home of his parents, Sunday, helping care for his brother, LEE HILL, who was very sick.

THORAL, the little son of MR. and MRS. PRICE REX, is very sick with a bad cold at this writing.

MRS. OSCAR REX and MRS. PRICE REX visited one day last week with MRS. ROY WARREN.

L.E. KONKLIN and wife and daughter, DOROTHY, called at the home of DOLPH KONKLIN home, Sunday evening.

Several young folks of this vicinity attended a surprise party at LIL BETHARDS, Friday night.

EARL BANK departed Saturday for Colo., Iowa, where he has employment for the summer.

MRS. E.P. HAMILTON called at the DOLPH KONKLIN home Thursday.

MR. and MRS. GUY CHAMBERS spent Sunday at the L.E. KONKLIN home.

MR. and MRS. HENRY ROSS came Thursday to visit with home folks.

MR. and MRS. J.B. SNYDER called on ROY SNYDER Thursday of last week.

FRANK GRAHAM was elected as School Director at Bradney and OSCAR BEAVERS at White Hall.

RUSSELL ATEN was a Garden Grove caller Tuesday.

MR. and MRS. JOHN KONKLIN and MRS. TRAVE LANE spent Tuesday at EVERETT KONKLIN's.

MR. and MRS. JOE MULLIN and son, RAYMOND, called at WM. BUCKINGHAM's Thursday afternoon.

HARRY KENDALL is moving on the JULIAN HARRIS place near Leon.

HARRISON WATSON was buried at the Dunkard Church Cemetery Friday.

MR. and MRS. DUD SMITH called at CHARLEY BEAVERS' Sunday afternoon.

There was some pretty lively bidding last Saturday at the Rexall Drug Store, when the first auction sale of premiums given by merchants in the Red Arrow Sale was held. The premiums were sold at auction to the highest bidders, and brought a total of $l,448.75 in coupons. A plow sold to J.P. SMITH for $375.25, a lady's hand bag to MISS LENORE CLEMENSEN for $206.00, a traveling bag to FLOYD POUSH for $200.00, a suit case to DALE BUELL for $200.00, a silk skirt to MISS HELEN VAN WERDEN for $l5l.00 and an ivory clock to R.R. WILCOX for $l55.00. A number of other small articles were sold. A second auction sale will be held next month.
