William SHAKESPEARE and family departed for Lucas, Friday, where they will reside. Mr. SHAKESPEARE will work in the mines at Lucas, an occupation not new to him, he having been formerly engaged in such work at Lucas. While he will be greatly missed by his friends and neighbors in the vicinity of Evergreen he will be gladly welcomed back to Lucas by his many acquaintances there.

Joseph SIMPSON and family were Friday arrivals from Essex, Iowa, coming to make their future home in our community. Mr. SIMPSON has rented the NICHOLSON farm near Evergreen, and immediately enters upon his work there. He has the appearance of a rustler, and will no doubt make the farm pay both himself and its owner. We have the pleasure of adding his name to our mailing list, as he ways he is desirous of getting in touch with the people of the community.
