The Davis City Advance Davis City, Decatur County, Iowa Thursday, February 18, 1897 STEPHEN RADNICH, JR. had the misfortune to have his fine cutter thoroughly smashed last Friday. The cutter overturned while driving through the gate at his father's place, spilling STEPHEN and MISS KATE CARTWRIGHT, and then the horse whipped the saplings with the cutter until it was in good shape for kindling wood.
