List of Enumerators.  Their Dis-

tricts and Compensation.

Supervisor Samuel C. Smith furnishes us with a list of the enumerators for Dallas county and their districts.  He has been fortunate in securing the maximum compensation allowed for the enumerators in his district.  For the county districts the compensation is 3 cents for each person enumerated and 20 cents for each farm.  For the cities and towns the compensation is for each person 2 cents, for each manufacturing establishment 20 cents; for each death reported, 3 cents; for each person defective in eye sight, hearing or speech, 3 cents.
