DAVID DANIEL, of Dallas Center, Dallas County. Will dated 9 Feb 1872, proven 17 Sep 1872. To my wife Mary Daniel all household furnishings.  My farm the SW 1/4, Sec 2, T 79 N, R 27 W, to be divided, the W 1/2 to dau Mary Jane Justice, the E 1/2 to my son Sylvester A Daniel, provided 1/3 of all produce is delivered to my wife.  Each to pay $700 part of which to provide educational fund for my grandson David Daniel who now resides with us.  Children named:  Basil J Daniel, Cyrus C Daniel, Sylvester A Daniel, Catharine Wilson and Mary Jane Justice.

To my wife Amanda M Davenport all my estate.  To pay debts she is empowered to sell 30 acres of timber land being the E 3/4 NE 1/4 SE 1/4, Sec 8, T 78 N, R 28 W.  After my wifes death to son Joshua H Davenport and daus Julia Ann Davenport and Nettie Jane Longmire, all my remaining estate.
