Know ye, That Peter Larson a Private of Captain T. Hulburt Company, (H), 74 Regiment of Infantry Illinois VOLUNTEERS, who was enrolled on the Third day of December one thousand eight hundred and Sixty three to serve Three years, or during the war, is hereby Discharged from the service of the United States, this 29th day of May 1865, at Springfield Illinois by reason of Telegram from War Dept dated May 3, 65.

[No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist.*)

Said Peter Larson was born in Norway in the State of [blank], is 18 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, light complexion, Blue eyes, light hair and by occupation when enrolled a Farmer.

Given at Springfield Ill. , this Twenty ninth day of May 1865.
