Know ye, That George Wiehel a Private of Captain James M. Russell's Company, (K), First Regiment of Iowa Cav Veterans VOLUNTEERS, Reenlisted this day a Vet'n & who was enrolled on the the First day of January one thousand eight hundred and Sixty Four to serve Three years, or during the war, is hereby Discharged from the service of the United States, this Fifteenth day of February 1866, at Austin Texas

by reason of D.O. No 20 Letters, Dept of Texas Musterout of Rgtts
(No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist.)

Said George Wiehel was born in Union County in the State of Penn, is 45 years of age, 5 feet 7 1/2 inches high, Light complexion, Blue eyes, Brown hair and by occupation when enrolled a Soldier.

Given at Austin, Texas, this fifteenth day of February 1866.
