Stanley P. Nuehring

Mr. Nuehring writes: "I offer these photos and post card copies, because documents get lost and far too often, destroyed. I was saddened when working through the photo albums he possesses from his later parents, to learn that my deceased brother had a ton of them from Grandma Lydia Janzig Pufahl, but lost them when his basement flooded some years back. Thus I'm into copying and scanning whatever I can and forwarding such to those who might preserve our history as best we can. I offer the following for your archives to the extent you wish them. The first item is Grandma Pufahl's water color executed in 1915. The rest are pictures or postcards created by my great grandfather, Gustav Pufahl. His remains are in the Monona Lutheran Cemetery and he died 3 years before I was born. I want to assure that what was once beautiful and significant will go forward for the future generations. It's not about me; it's about them."
