  F/Name – Father
  B/Name – Brother

  G/Name – Grandmother
  Gr/Name – Grandchildren
  SB/Name – Step Brother
• Township Column
• Section Column
  They either owned land or rented land in this section.
• Owner Column
  Yes means they owned the land and rent means they rented the land. Owners not living on the farm have no family information.
• Years Column
  This is the amount of years they lived in Clay County.
• Other information found in this directory: it lists the Post Office town. It lists, in some cases, the name of the farm and if they were breeders of certain hogs, cattle or chickens.
