The first girls 4-H club in Troy was started in 1925, with Mrs. J. J. Kane as leader. The girls enrolled in this year of 4-H work were: Veda Kane, Cleo Kane, Wanda Kane, Alice Fenn, Helen Fenn, & Lucille Fenn. The first name of the Troy club was "Pride of Troy". Mrs. Kane was leader for seven years.

1932, Miss Lois Gaumer & Miss Lucille Fenn, Leaders.

1934, Mrs. Lester Daniels, Leader for three years.

For a few years there was no club in Troy. Then in 1942 Mrs. Ernest Poll became leader & the club was called "Troy Maidens".

1943, Mrs. A. J. Garr & Mrs. A. J. Taylor, Leaders.

1945-1946-1947 there was no club.

In 1948 the club was reorganized with Mrs. Carl Gaumer, Sr. and Mrs. A. J. Garr as leaders. At this time the club was called "Troyettes".
