John Alburtus Hall Family

John Alburtus and Sarah Jane Piper Hall 1890

 

Robert W. Hall & Sarah Olmstead Hall came to Iowa in 1867 in a covered wagon from Ohio. They lived south and also west of Murray for a time.

They were the parents of nine children: Albertus, Nina Hall Felton, Rose Hall LeFevre, Martha Hall Cone, Elizabeth Hall Pickup, Fred, Bob, Miriam and Thomas who died as an infant.

The youngest of this family is Nina Felton who is now living at New Virginia, Iowa.

This house replaced the old residence and was built in 1910.

John Albertus HaIl, married Sarah Jane Piper in 1890 and were the parents of Edmond, Eva Hall Blanchard, Burt & John. All of their children were born in the old house in Madison Township. Burt was married to Angie Hall, John - (deceased) was married to Pauline McCartney, Edmond to Linnie Ries and Eva to Harmon Blanchard.

They are all living in the Osceola & Murray area, at the present time.
