Junior Burgus and Dorothy Woods were married May 18, 1951 and moved directly to a farm 5 and 1/2 miles N.E. of Murray. Junior is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Herbert Burgus and Dorothy the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Elmer Woods of this vicinity.

After a two year term with the armed forces, they returned to the farm they had originally occupied.

While in the service a son, Marty Lynn, was born to them in 1953. In 1955 a daughter, Dezi Dee was born to them.

Their occupation has been mainly farming, however, they operate an upholstery shop and also hold an interest in a Fertilizer Co.

They now live 2 mi. N. of Murray. Both children attend the Murray Community School, Marty being a Sophomore and Dezi in eighth grade, this fall.
