We are the Orville Carson family, and we are celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary this centennial year (1933-1968). We have three children, Everette, Darrell, & Phyllis. We moved to the farm we own south of Murray in 1943. Our children graduated from the Murray High School. Everette married Lola Webb of Osceola. They have three sons, Steve, Brian, & Dennis. They live in Johnston. Darrell married Beverley Hurt of Murray and has three daughters, Pam, Kathy, & Patty. They live in Murray. Phyllis is married to Robert Wolf of Thayer, and they have a daughter,

Lesley, and a son, Douglas. They live in Newton.

Orville's parents own a farm south of Murray. They were Mr. & Mrs. O. A. Carson. Mrs. Carson is deceased. My parents owned a farm north of Murray. My dad is gone and my mother lives in Osceola.

Orville runs a road patrol out of Murray. He has been a trustee for many years. He has raised ponies for a long time and now raises and shows Chickasaw horses and is on the National Board as a Director.
