Flora Esther Moore was born in Batavia, Iowa, on Dec. 31, 1870, to Mr. & Mrs. DeWitt Clinton Moore. When four years old, her parents, a brother and three sisters moved north of Murray where she attended school, She was married to John Kleinbeck of Murray on April 5, 1891. John Kleinbeck was born Sept. 28, 1863, near Murray. He farmed with his father for several years after his marriage. Three sons and two daughters were born at the farm. One son died in infancy. About 1907 they moved to Murray; one daughter was born. here. Our dad became a carpenter and built

several homes in Murray. Mother passed away April 3, 1939, and dad Sept. 7, 1940. Iva was married to Lesley Dixon. Their two children are: Mrs. Kenneth Ramsbottom and Leo Dixon. Harold married Meta Zeigenhagen of Minnesota. Their four sons are Bill, Keith, Ross & Jerry. Rubie married George LeBaron; she had one daughter, Esther Colombo. Velma married Gerald V. Johnson; they have one daughter, Mrs. Wayne Thomas. Glen lives in the home where the folks lived most of their years in town. Iva and Harold are deceased.
