Katherine “Kate” Quirk was born in Delaware County in1849 and died in January 1901 in New Hampton. She married Patrick H. Brannon in Eden Township, Fayette County; Patrick remarried in 1906.

Success (May 2005) . The first three photos have been positively identified as Katherine “Kate” Brannon. Richard had connected with Steve Chase through a Brannon Message Board. Steve’s wife is the daughter of Patricia Brannon Webb and granddaughter of Lawrence Virgil Brannon. Lawrence is the son of P. H. Brannon and his second wife, Hannah Boyle. Steve recognized P. H. Brannon (and therefore Kate) from a similar vintage photo in his mother-in-law’s home. They are not sure about the fourth photo (with child) so take a look if you are familiar with the Brannon family.
