Territory of Wisconsin}
Du Buque County } ss I Charls Dunn, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Wisconsin
Territory, and presiding Judge of the District court of Du Buque County, having
examined the Schedule of the inhabitants of said County, returned by the Sherriff thereof,
and satisfied that from the dispersed situation of the inhabitants of said County, the sum
of three dollars per hundred is not a sufficient compensation. Therefore, the said Sheriff
has my approbation to charge an addition two dollars per hundred inhabitants.
