LOGUE, LOUGE, PIERCE posted by Cathy Porter Maynard on 10/29/98
I am searching for information regarding the LOGUE family -- who resided in the Griswold, Cumberland, and Atlantic Iowa areas. Goldie LOUGE (my maternal grandmother) was born on July 26, 1895. I am searching for her ancestors. I am told that her father was named Oliver (with perhaps William as a middle or first name?) LOGUE. I wish to be able to locate as much information Oliver Logue and Myrtle (PIERCE) Logue as would be possible, so I can trace my roots... It is my understanding that Oliver LOGUE married Myrtle PIERCE (spelling?) , and their children were: Goldie LOGUE, Gladys LOGUE, Halican (spelling?) LOGUE, Esther LOGUE, Helen LOGUE, Donald LOGUE, Virgil LOGUE. I am told that Oliver LOGUE and siblings, but only one name is recalled, that being John. I do not know where Oliver came from, but living relatives state that he came from "out east". Any information that you could provide would be so very appreciated. I thank you.
