1914 G.A.R. Quartet

This photo is labelled "1914 G.A.R. Quartet." Could this be a barbershop vocal quartet? It comes from the photo album of an Anita family, but there is no further identification provided with it. The above photo also appears in the 1975 Centennial History Book of Anita, and in that book the quartet members are identified from left to right as: R. C. Rasmussen, William H. Wagner, W. R. Spence, and Sherm F. Myers. Sherm Myers was a well-known editor of The Anita Tribune.
