CUMBERLAND SAVINGS BANK.
Organized January 7, 1905, with a capital stock of $10,000, the business of this prosperous institution so expanded that that amount has been increased to $25,000. The officers at that time (as at present) were as follows: Edgar S. Harlan, president; John W. Reed, vice-president; C. P. Shearer, cashier. Besides the gentlemen named above, the directors of the bank are T. G. Turner, Council Bluffs, and E. W. Harlan. The institution transacts a general banking business, its savings department, however, being its most important feature.
