WILLIAM LINDEMANN
William Lindemann came in March, 1870, and bought eighty acres on section 11. He removed on to it the following May, and lived there till 1873, when he sold the place and bought two hundred and five acres of wild land on section 5, where he now resides. He was born in Hesse-Cassell, in 1846, and his parents came to America in 1853. He lived in Pennsylvania from that time until coming here. He was married in 1867, to Catherine Gerlach. They have seven children.
