It was organized March 19,1882 at a meeting held in District 1 school house. Noah Bowen donated the ground, providing the Association kept up the fences. Trees were cleared off, and lots of six spaces were sold for $5.00. Past presidents of the Association have been Nate Olmstead, Noah Bowen, Ira Ingalls, T. G. Olmstead, G. B. Luck, Mrs. Anna Ingalls, Pearl Ingalls, Mrs. Dick Thomas, Cena Ackerson and Clyde Garner, who served in the office for 34 years (1930-1964).
