Safford	1810	2 Apr 1865	Death index card for Eliza Safford at the Buchanan County Historical Society reads "grandson Mercian Boyack said his grandfather Mercian Safford is buried in New Haven Cemetery and was not removed." (Because of flooding problems, that cemetery is now abandoned and most of the graves were moved to other cemeteries, however, his was not.)
