Ole A. Nervig of Thor passed away Friday afternoon of last week at the Skaugstad Convalescent Home in Humboldt, after being admitted as a patient on the preceding day. Mr. Nervig was born near Stavanger, Norway, on April 30, 1864, and came to the United States at the age of three years. He has lived in Humboldt county for many years, and farmed near Thor until his retirement about eight years ago.

He is survived by his wife, and the following children: Mrs. P. L. Hansen (Hattie) of Williams, Iowa; Art and Bernie of Eagle Grove; Mrs. Katie Hanna of Des Moines; Mrs. Olaf Knutson (Sadie) of Thor; and Mrs. Phil Lane (Ruth) of Humboldt. He also has twenty-two grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 24, at 1:30 p. m. in the Trinity Lutheran church northwest of town in Lake township at 2:00 p. m. Rev. Severson of Eagle Grove officiated. Interment will be made at the church cemetery. The Bogaard Funeral Home of Humboldt Is in charge of arrangements.
