Clarence E. Cragg
18 July 1887 ---- 18 February 1965

Clarence E. Cragg, 77, died Thursday Feb. 18 at the Veterans hospital, Des Moines where he had been a patient for a few days. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Sandvig Funeral Home with Rev. H. W. Schiller in charge. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. I.O.O.F. service was held Friday evening at the Sandvig Funeral Home and military rites were conducted at the grave by Clarence Shurtz Post of the American Legion.

Mr. Cragg was born July 18, 1887 at Brainerd, Minn. He was a veteran of World War 1 and served with the Army of Occupation in Europe for one year. He moved here in 1921 and was employed as a painter for the Chicago and North Western R.R. for many years. He retired a few years ago and made his home at 315 N. E. 4th St. He was unmarried and is survived by distant relatives.
