Miss Katherine Bell Jones was born July 20, 1862 in Coles county, Ill., the youngest of a family of eight. Her girlhood days were spent with her family on the farm. After her marriage to Perry Wiser they moved to Shannon City. To this union was born five children. Her husband and three children preceded her in death. In 1898 she and her two children moved to Goldfield and located on a farm north of town. In 1902 she was united in marriage to Lou C. Willson. To them was born one son Karl. Mr. Willson preceded her in death about six years ago. Mrs. Willson passed away December 26, 1945, at the hospital in Brookings, S. D. She leaves to mourn her loss: Karl Willson of Brookings, S. D., Mrs. Ernest Kirchner of Brownsdale, Minn., Clyde Wiser of Goldfield.

Early in life she recognized the claims of God and accepted Christ as her Savior and united with the Christian church at Shannon City, Iowa.

It is our belief that the bridegroom found her lamp trimmed and burning with an abundant supply of oil, and we feel sure that she has sat down to the wedding feast of eternity. There is a verse of scripture which were the words of Jesus with reference to another, "She hath done what she could."

Funeral services were held at the Kastler Funeral home in Eagle Grove December 29 at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Edie. Burial was in Goldfield cemetery beside her husband.
