Mikako "Mika" Elizabeth Lee, 30, of Thornton, Iowa, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, at the Belmond Hospital. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 North 4th Street, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Daird Korth of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Ventura, officiating. Following the services cremation will take place with private graveside committal services at a later date in the Clear Lake Cemetery.

Mikako "Mika" Elizabeth Lee was born on Jan. 17, 1972, in the Naval Hospital at Camp La Jeune, N. C., the daughter of John and Michiko (Miyagi) Williams. She attended and graduated from Sweet Water High School in National City, Calif. She also attended North Iowa Area Community College in Mason City. Mika loved music, dancing, and Clear Lake, but her great love and enjoyment was her children and being a loving mother.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Daniel and Ricky Lee of Thornton; her parents, John and Michiko Williams of Okinawa, Japan; several aunts and uncles living in Japan and America; as well as other relatives and many friends. Her maternal and paternal grandparents preceded her in death. Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel.
