WILLIAM DEFORD

William Deford, 77, 1609½ Fourth street, died in a hospital Saturday after a three-week illness.

Mr. Deford was born August 4, 1864, in Cass County, Ind., and came to Sioux City 30 years ago.

A son, Louis of Washington, D. C., survives. The body was taken to Rutledge's mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in Rutledge's funeral chapel. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
