Mrs. Sarah Ellen Mathieson, 51, died Wednesday in her home, 615 Perry Street, following a long illness. She had resided here since 1918. She was born in Linn County, Ia., November 26, 1890.

Surviving are the widower Jacob; a daughter Mrs. R. E. Ford of Chicago; a son Carl H. Cox in Hawaii; a stepson Arthur Mathieson of Sioux City; three sisters, Mrs. Clarence Musselman of Sioux City, Mrs. Katherine Mooney of Mason City, Neb., and Mrs. C. E. Higbe of Chico, Cal.

The body is at Anderson's funeral home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen Mathieson, 51, 615 Perry Street, who died Wednesday following a long illness, will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday in Anderson's funeral chapel.

Rev. George E. Scheider will officiate. Burial will be in Logan Park cemetery.
