20 June 1942William Viall, 79, 411 Market Street, for 40 years proprietor of restaurants here, died Friday night in a hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Viall was born May 23, 1863, at St. Paul. He had been a resident here for 50 years.
Surviving are the widow Alice of Sioux City; a brother, Bert of St. Paul, and a stepsister, Mrs. Joe LaBoba of Sioux Falls.
The body was taken to Manning's funeral home.

21 June 1942Funeral services for William Viall, 79, 411 Market Street, who died Friday night in a hospital after a long illness, will be held at 10 a. m. Monday at Manning's funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Park cemetery. Mr. Viall was a restaurant proprietor for 40 of the 50 years he resided here.

22 June 1942Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. today in Manning's chapel for William Viall, 79, 411 Market, who died Friday in a hospital. Rev. George W. Dunn, pastor of First Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Vince and Frank Kahoun, A. E. Harris, William Denton, George Hefner and Fred Miller.
