Mrs. Kate Weintz, 65, 1000 15th street, a resident of Sioux City for more than 50 years, died Thursday afternoon at home following an illness of about two years. Mrs. Weintz was born February 15, 1877, at Hampton, la.

She was married to H. C. Weintz in April, 1907, at Sioux City.

Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Harriet Hodgeson of Sioux City; a son Claire of Springfield, Ill.; 8 sister, Mrs. J. T. Griggs of Sioux City; brother James Niven of Sioux City and a grandchild.

The body was taken to the Westcott-Doughty- funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a. m. Monday in the Westcott-Doughty-Chandler funeral home for Mrs. Kate Weintz, 1000 15th street, who died Thursday at her home after two years' illness. Rev. George Dunn of the First Methodist church will officiate and burial will be in Graceland Park cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gale Hodgeson, Harry Carpenter, Clement Weintz, Herbert Ford, Roscoe Gillespie and Arthur Lembcke.

WEINTZ- Funeral services for Mrs. Kate Weintz will be held at 10:30 o'clock this morning in the Westcott-Doughty-Chandler funeral home. Interment will be in Graceland Park cemetery.
