Dierk Sve Breytspraak

October 22, 1954- March 13, 2024

KANSAS CITY, MO - Dierk Sve Breytspraak, 69, of Kansas City, MO passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, in a local Hospice House. Dierk deeded his body to the University of Iowa Medical School for research to help cure many diseases.

Dierk was born on October 22, 1954, in Sioux City, Iowa. He was the son of Dr Janice Sve and Victor Breytspraak. Dierk graduated from North High School in 1973. He enlisted in the US Marine Corp in 1974 and served until 1976.

Dierk attended Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa and Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He went on to Washington D.C. Culinary School to become a chef. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and cooking. He was also a member of the Cheyenne Social Club.

Dierk is survived by his sister Cathy Torgerson (Rick), niece Brooke Christiano (Joe), and 3 great nephews Joey, Vincent, and Angelo. He is preceded in death by his parents Janice Sve and Victor Breytspraak.
