BRONSON, Iowa - Leo A. Wessling, 69, of Bronson died Sunday at the home of his niece, Mrs. John Hinds near Bronson where he had been residing.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Danbury. The Rev. Robert Thiele will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by Carlsen From Post 336, American Legion. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in the Walter Funeral Home in Mapleton.

Mr. Wessling was born April 12, 1916, at Danbury. He lived his youth at Danbury and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He returned to Danbury and later moved to Rochester, Minn. He most recently had lived at Bronson. Mr. Wessling was a farm laborer.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Katherine) Peters of Rochester and Mrs. Christina Peters of Danbury.
