Isaac Duff received the sad news last week of the death of his sister Mrs. Ben Birdsell at Portland, Ore.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Mary Eliza who was born June 21, 1845 and died Oct. 13, 1915. She is buried in Hillsboro Pioneer Cemetery in Hillsboro, OR.
