David Vickery, along-time resident of the Yellow river district, near Postville, died last week Wednesday. He was the father of Robt. Vickery of this city.

Sudden Death.
Robert Vickery went to Postville last Friday to attend the funeral of his father. His sister, Mrs. Webster of Cedar Rapids, came up to attend also, though not feeling well. While the services were being held she was taken worse and died. Her funeral was held on Sunday.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born June, 1840 and died Jan. 1, 1914. He is buried in the Cleveland Cemetery in Postville, IA.
